  This training prepares yourself for your work and personal life in your partner country using a country-specific selection of topics and focal areas while taking into account your interests and previous experience.
  You will deepen your understanding of your country of assignment, better comprehend different perspectives and will be able to act more effectively and successfully in the context of social and cultural differences.

  Learning objectives Learning objectives × You will learn: to reflect on the framework conditions, backgrounds, structures and processes in your country of destination – and get to know the social, economic, environmental, (development) political, intercultural and historical circumstances. about important stakeholders, social groups and the organisations in the country. to analyse conflicts, violence and fragility on a country-specific basis and to address topics such as crisis and threat scenarios, gender equality, dealing with minorities, and the expectations regarding your role. to understand communication and behaviour patterns and how to respond to them. how to identify possible areas of tension between cultural, social and political circumstances and your personal goals.
