Decent work has many faces. Child labour, forced labour, and human trafficking are still a global problem. There are also serious differences in employment rates. While 72% of all men worldwide are in employment, only 47% of all women have jobs. This often means that many people have no income of their own, are not covered by any social insurance, and have to cope with increasing inflation.
If you want to know how minimum social standards are to be ensured in supply chains to advance decent work, take a look at the Supply Chain Act.
