The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has been commissioning the GIZ Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) for many decades to prepare specialists and managers in international cooperation sustainably and effectively for the challenges of assignments abroad. As part of the preparation for assignments abroad, the Academy offers a wide range of trainings for the specialists and managers of more than 35 sending organisations and their accompanying family members - alone or in groups, face-to-face or digitally. Up to 40 learning days from 6 months before and up to 24 months after departure to the country of assignment are free of charge for each participant. In addition, numerous other learning opportunities can be used on our Online Campus. Moreover, so-called practical consultations with your trainer can be booked for further advice during the assignment. We are continuously developing our trainings so that participants can master the challenges and changes of international cooperation.
